Who are we?

The Fiat Lux the official student run newspaper of Alfred University. We have been printing since 1913. This makes us one of the oldest college newspapers in the country. We run weekly newsroom meetings out of the CSI Media Hub to cover campus events and relevant issues. While we are a college paper, we strive to teach and follow professional standards. We offer education and learning opportunities for new members looking to learn about newswriting, reporting and more.
